@Vitaliy_Kiselev Hello Vitaliy, I have one question. I know that GF2 has 720p60p but the sensor output is 30p, can this hack make the output 60p? like GH1 and GH2 have. Thanks!

I'm really glad you are working on the camera. I've seen some HD video from the hacked GH2 and I was blown away by the quality and sharpness of the video. Do you think that increasing the bitrate of the GF2 video will result in something similar regarding crispness/sharpens ?

I used 2 GF2s and my GH2 (unhacked), with 4 EX3s and two MC50s. The GF2s at 17mbits cut nicely with the EX3s .. I look forward too the hack.

It was a 3 band concert, 9 cameras.

I'm interested in knowing too. I've been looking around the Lumix G series and have been quite intrigued with GF2 -- since I'm on a budget and planning on learning photography. I would love to donate to your work sometime and will await for info on a hack soon.

@drtygnus the GF2 is cheaper and probably better =) You can find some refurbished ones really cheap on ebay.

This means that with this PTool the GF2 will have Video manual controls?

Where does it say that the GF2 has better dynamic range than GH2 ? This is a comparison stating that the GH2 has 1-stop more dynamic range (have not seen any tests though, so treat this with a pinch of salt). From snapsort More dynamic range Gh2 11.3 EV vs GF2 10.3 EV

From another site, again the GF2 has less dynamic range than the GH2. Use the dropdown in the graph to compare different cameras.
