    The HBR mode in 30fps land fails with battery pull on the new span my and V3 rocket with 95MB/s card. Wish I didn't need it but the broadcaster I work for wants 30fps.

    @royfel OK, it got thru my death bush outside... I'll take a deeper look & readjust frame buffers more.

    @driftwood Same panning as above with Rocket v3 now give me around 64 mbits and with a scene with more iregular motion close to 76 mbits. Thanks a lot. will also try Orion later.

    I need someone to test the 25p out on v3 Rocket beta. @Tomaso was that 25p HBR you tested?

    @driftwood I just tested 25p HBR on strays denser death chart and got battery pull after 1 second, whereas 24p just keeps going...

    Can somone tell me what the difference is gonna be with v3 and v4 in stead of the v2 ? is it even better or does it have other perks? I'm having a hard time getting the technical terms so if someone could explain it on dummy level.. thx!

    First test with Quantum Rocket V3: I just shot 25 p HBR f 7.2 with shutter 160. Lumix-Leica 25 mm. lens. Record stoppes after a 30 seconds. Battery out

    @driftwood Sorry, yes it was 25P HBR. I have tested all other modes as well with good result, but battery pull ones on FSH. Same panning. Sandisk Extreme Video.

    Second test with Quantum Rocket V3. Now I'm using panasonic 14-140 lens. I'm getting the same results than lumix-leica 25 mm.: Record stopped after 30 seconds. Camera hangs I forgot to mention that SD card used is Sandisk 64 GB 95MB/s

    First test with Quantum Rocket V3 HBR 25p mode using sandisk 64gb SDXC 95 MB/s card. Converted MTS file to prores. Looks great! Slow acceptable panning cause some stutter/cadence issues. Looking forward to try the CBR version.

    Just did a quick handheld test with Rocket HBR V3 aiming the camera out against my window. Randomly it stops recording after a couple of seconds (resulting in battery pull). This happened at ISO 200, and sometimes when it works I can crank it up to ISO 3200 without any issues. If I first record a couple of secs in 1080 25p and then 720p it's fine most of the time, but sometimes the 1080p crashes before I get the chance to record anything. Even the Class 6 works sometimes, but all of the cards has a similiar pattern with the crashes.

    This happens both with HBR 25p and manual 50p. Sometimes it works, sometimes is crashes. I've tested Sandisk class 6 and 10 ( all 30 mb/s and 45 mb/s cards).

    Hope this helps! I'm probably doing something wrong here =P.

    @dirftwood, I am amazed. I just can't get the rocket to explode!!! Just the slight panning issue but even that for me is greatly reduced even from the earlier versions of Quantum I have used even in 24p. Really looking forward to try the CBR version and very very interested in the Driftwood Quantum X AVCHD-I 100/50.

    Just back, damn battery was empty.
    and "Quantum X 'SpanMyBitchUp' v2b"worked without any problem.
    i HAVE ALL possible settings in the gh2 used, HBR. 24P in H mode, 300%, 80%.
    720p 50, in SH and H, with and without tele2, iso 160 to 800, shutter from 1/50 to 1/1300, white ballans clouds. auto and manual focus
    sandisk extreme hd video 32gb 30mb/s.
    I will edit my files and upload it perhaps tonight.

    More 25p HBR footage recorded with v3 rocket. Three of four times the same subject with different shutter and lens settings… yeah boring I know :D
