@Manu4Vendetta would be great to know if this was all internal or Atomos etc. Lovely. DR is looking nice. Can't wait to see what DxO score the GH5.
I think we had this posted.
Poor companies being limited by manufacturer in price add various stuff like this

@alcomposer was internal.
@Vitaliy_Kiselev sorry.
@ Manu4Vendetta That skin tone comparison video shows exactly why LUTs are a poor choice for these kind of technical tests. The LUT has clipped all the highlight detail. A better test would be to use a proper grading application where the signal feeding into the LUT can be controlled, or a custom curve can be used to avoid clipping.
@caveport you have reason.
GH5 update for Mac OS looks to have just launched. Hopefully this is the Finder update so we can view 10 bit files etc.
"Let’s get right to the point. This post is a Predictive AF comparison test between the Lumix GH5, G85, Olympus EM-1 Mark ll, and the Nikon D500. I’ve been shooting the new Lumix GH5 for almost two months, and Panasonic’s DFD autofocus is now producing equal to or better results than any camera I’ve shot to date. "

@nobbystylus can you confirm its the gh5 update?
Hi - sadly after updating there is no change in the finder behaviour towards 10 bit files despite the fact that it says in the readme files that the new OS update supports GH5 files.
@nobbystylus it may be referring to GH5 RAW image files only. If you take an image in RAW can you test to see if it is now viewable?
Rumour regarding 20FPS RAW:
http://thenewcamera.com/panasonic-gh5-firmware-rumor/
I would much prefer a higher quality 6k Photo mode. 422, 10bit, > 200mbps
One thing that many people are forgetting with the 20FPS rumour: The GH5 has two SD slots, and thus it may be possible to save one photo to each card interlaced. Such a system was used on the Blackmagic Ursa for 24-25-30p AdobeDNG RAW images.
So if the camera can do 12FPS currently- possibly it could do 24 if using both cards, (and given that both cards are V60-90)... so much tech, so little firmware! :-(
Used body for $1750
Gosh @Vitaliy_Kiselev is anyone keeping their pre-orders?
The V90's are here:
I think Panasonic should release the firmware hounds now. Before too many people sell their GH5 ;-)
