1/8th slow motion in (almost) Full HD:
No bugs...
Cine1 gamma; Stills color.
RX100 IV + PL filter.
First test my girlfriend did with her new RX100 IV.
More California in February. Used Picture Profile 4.
The A6300 is getting a lot of praise for its high ISO night videos. But the RX100 IV, with its optically-stabilized f1.8 lens, is no slouch in the dark. Where the A6300 using a f3.5 or f4 lens might need 3200 ISO, the Sony would only need less than 800. Anyway, here are some RX100 IV night scenes, starting at dusk, shot so that the video reproduced what the eye actually sees, not turning night into day.
Has anyone recorded the hdmi 4k at 24p 25p or 30p?
Sony RX100 IV + BMPCC in the Alps:
Overheating! I shot a video using the RX100 IV, testing it's capabilities (rolling shutter, night time), in 90-degree heat with extremely high humidity (Hong Kong):
As always, the picture is great, night and day (no fixes in post and no re-compression, just clip and merge).
But the daytime clips in the video represent about 3/4 of what I shot and was all I could shoot because the camera shut down due to over-heating (I had just finished anyway, luckily). Ambient temperature (and maybe humidity) really seem to make a difference. I never had a heat issue in non-humid mid 80's settings.
The RX100 IV is then practically unusable in this setting for any outings (inside venues, still fine).
