Here is a first test I did with the Came 7000 gimbal.
The settings are not perfect yet, you can still see my movements when I do little steps. But its working quite great. Shot with GH4 and Olympus 12mm. I uploaded the original file out of the camera, so no post stabilization or anything.
DJI Ronin drop price to $2999 from $4499. Wow good time!! Just a little more DJI.

Had a chance to test my Feiyu G3 Ultra 3-Axis out for what I wanted it for with my long suffering assistant ;) So much harder to stabilize these shots than the usual bike and ski shots etc. as the movement is continual in all 3 planes on horseback and I've been looking for something for a while for the odd riding holiday promos I do. If you look at 1 min in there I let him go a bit there is so much movement and the Feiyu copes really well, I'm really impressed for what it is. No additional stabilization in post and because it keeps the horizon so well if you de-fish it it looks great so much less warping and popping in the background like you would get warp stabilizing that sort of shot. Need to figure out how to mount it, helmet is too high / too heavy need to be around chest height or hand held like I did but with somewhere safe to quickly stow it. but it's a really nice bit of kit for the money so far.
Usage of Feiyu
Hello, I use a CAME 7500 and it works very well! I wrote an article on my first impression (in french sorry) here: http://www.5mars.com/came7500
GH4 + Voigtlander 25mm:
Got my FeiyuTech 3 Axis handheld from china the other day, first go with old gopro black, just getting a feel for it, works well for what it is I think. I'll get it smoother next time I need to follow through the motion more and holding the handle parallel to the floor seems to work better rather than upright, snatched it a couple of times, but still that was all hand held on foot on a rough surface, I was impressed even if no one else is :)
Yes, it is designed for GoPro cameras. For small Panasonic cameras to work this would require modifications of the bracket which currently holds the GoPro in its place. This bracket is screwed onto the tilt axis. So in theory at least it should be possible to carefully unscrew it and replace it with a DIY solution for a slightly bigger camera. Something to keep in mind when tempering with the current gimbal design is that the current firmware of the gimbal is for the small GoPro, so a slightly heavier camera may throw the gimbal off balance or overwork the gimbal motors.
I will record some stabilised footage during my upcoming trip to China and post it on YouTube.
Is it for gopro only? Or it'll work with small Panasonic cameras also?
Seems like copters gimbal on top of handle :-)
Very fun, cheap small gimbals
Does anybody know how this 3 axis gimbal performs with a GH2+pancake? http://www.hobbywow.com/en-steadymaker-fpv-3-axis-ildc-handle-gimbal-stabilized-w-motor-gimbal-controller-p236569.htm Thanks
@LarryKetang, you can get more info from Chessycam website about the came7000. The guy at chessycam also says that came-tv is working on making profile for various popular cameras and lens combinations. If that turns out true, then it will be quite great and very affordable.
Does anyone have any experience of using a 3 axis gimbal (costing less than £500) with DSLRs? I'm looking for one to use with Canon 7D & 6D, and have been looking at the following

I'm concerned about the overall 'smoothness' of the stabilising, the weight & build quality of the rig, and the battery life. Any info would be great.
I just learned from Feiyu Tech that the new 3 axis gimbal is now available for order in China. It is very competitively priced at RMB 2199 (about £210) on Taobao.com. I will post a review as soon as I can get hold of a unit, probably in early July.
Not sure where else to put this. DIY "3-axis gimbal" achieved by mounting an inexpensive 2 axis gimbal on top of a glide cam.
Probably wouldn't work well for heavier bodies, but seems pretty damn good for my GH3/4
