    @vicharris & @thepalalias Did some more testing today with the Tokina, it will focus correctly, however on the canon when its at infinity the lens is different on the GH2, so it does work, but i have to keep in mind to not set it on infinity if i want that focus range ;-) One problem is offcourse the aperture, its electronic sadly, does anyone have any experience with aperture controlled adapters?

    @artiswar I did some testing with the "dynamic range" test in premiere, but the difference is not so great as i thought, however i did a quick test, and will get back to it soon...

    Anyway i did some testing today with this new DREWNET Cluster V7 patch and with some lenses and a comparison with the canon:

    Please do not mind my crappy camera work and focus pulling...it was a hard day, it was pouring with rain... :-(

    @Splendiddd Your naming is confusing. AN Boom is flat 4s Intra only matrix - do you mean you used the variations of AN 444 Soft matrix in your videos? There is NO Boom Drewnet or Nebula released yet. :-)

    I used only the soft and the sharp from the drewnet patch, what i understood from him (drewnet) is that the soft one is for the m4/3 lenses and the sharp one is for the classic lensen...

    So its not boom? Stupid me...

    @Splendiddd @Mirrorkisser - I think it's Mac only. The difference becomes immense in programs like DaVinci with extensive grading.

I bet you're already looking at these 8x8 matrices, thinking, how am i going to tweak these to make the GH3 a colour and bitrate munching Monster. I know this is still far away but, can't wait for VK to Unlock the GH3 and see what you guys are going to come up with, particularly with the new wifi capabilities i can see some VK magic happening :-) It's donating time! Still loving drewnet 444 soft and cluster settings in general. Cheers

    @mozes As I said ignore 720p it wasnt tested for GH3 matrices. read above - its from cluster v7.

    @Splendidd Personally I just preset the aperture with a Canon body using the DOF preview button while releasing the lens. But the word generally passed around is that the only way to get full quality aperture control is with an electronic adapter. The mechanical ones seem to have trouble with narrow apertures and sometimes suffer from vignetting, etc.Nonetheless, I have friends that have been happily using them without complaints despite that.

    @thepalalias thanks, i now set the aperture on the canon and then mount it on the GH2, but its not very handy, however the tokina is an amazing lens :-) so maybe i will have to look at a electronic adapter, i did not know they existed.

    @Splendiddd The Birger one has been "coming soon" for a very long time and may or may not be released. Others have been mentioned elsewhere on this site. I am not sure anyone here has actually used one yet.

    @david_d The "it" in "where can I download it" is a bit vague in this case. :) If you mean the 24L setting based on the GH3 matrix (with the aforementioned caveats and limitations) you just make sure you are logged in, then go to Driftwood's comment at http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/comment/88806#Comment_88806 and (as @Mirrorkisser mentioned) download the file linked in that comment (that looks like an empty page at the end of the comment).

    Here's the new image campaign I shot for CBS Sacramento, that start airing tonight. It's 5 spots total. Shot with Boom! at -2,-2,-2,-2. Mainly shot with SLR Magic 12mm. There's one or 2 anchor shots with the Canon 85mm. Converted in 5DtoRGB and edited in FCP7.

    @Greek_m43 LMAO, yeah, Andrew and I really don't see eye to eye. But you are a PR dream for this damn thing. Also for anyone who says a GH2 can't pass broadcast standards. Love it bro. I stood back 10 feet from the screen while we watched it and it looked great. And cut on FCP..nice. I have that Canon 85mm collecting dust and this shit makes me want to break it out!
