  • And here goes "free press(titutes)"

On January 6th, 2021, President Donald Trump escalated his assault on 244 years of democratic rule by inciting a mob of his supporters to break into the US Capitol building. In images that will haunt our republic for generations, Trump’s crazed supporters terrorized our elected representatives and their staffs and forced them to evacuate the seat of American government. CBS News reports that four people died in the ensuing chaos.

Trump is now finally facing a ban from Facebook and Twitter. For more than four years he has polluted the internet, turning large swaths of our shared spaces into fever swamps of conspiracy and hatred.

On Facebook, Twitter, and other platforms, Trump has so far been largely exempt from the restrictions placed on those who speak against him. Trump, after all, once said that he loves Twitter because it’s like owning a newspaper without any of the losses

Those would be the members of Congress, who just days ago swore to protect the laws of the land. Incredibly, after returning to Congress through blood and shattered glass, 129 of these members voted to continue inflaming the misguided passions of those who have been deluded by internet conspiracy theories and other destructive lies. They voted to support the president’s lie that the election was stolen, even after the president directed his supporters to assault the Congress.

  • Former US President Barack Obama issued a statement on the events on Capitol Hill in Washington. According to him, the storming of the Congress building, carried out at the instigation of the incumbent president, will go down in US history as a moment of "great shame".

Obama is horrible scoundrel who is afraid of any changes coming. Doesn't mean they won't happen.

  • Bodies count increased

Four people became victims of clashes involving police and supporters of Donald Trump. One of them is a woman who was shot inside the building of the US Congress.

Rumors are that new armed people militia units are coming to Washington.

  • It seems like event had been staged by democratic wing.

Twitter made special situational team that temporary blocked Trump account, this team actually expected Trump to behave much more radical today.

  • Also conflict among US capitalists won't end, it is just widening and increasing.

For now one group used tech giants and votes fraud and falsifications using machines and fake printed ballots.

Second side is little disorganized but will answer.

Trump is not on any of two sides and try to make his own game, hence he is so weakling.

  • Trump guys worst dream (but things will go exactly to this):

Well, yes and no. As Bezos, Gates and alike are nothing without state enforcing machine. They will loose all and flee to other country within hours of understanding that it won't protect them anymore, and almost all people also will be hunting for them, so any small guard teams won't help.

  • The mob got the wrong address, they should be storming the houses of Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, to get their share of "stimulus money" :)

  • Add Boris Johnson and his followers...

  • "Whom the gods would destroy they first make mad".

Donald Trump, who has been made mad courtesy of COVID 19 via gods' hands, and his followers are putting on a spectacular show of madness

  • Not strange. The US isn't a popular democracy, it has never been. It's a union of States, a federal republic. Ultimately, in their constitution, each State is a legal person, with one vote in matters of upmost importance, like the contingent election. This is all by design, as the founding fathers weren't entertaining popular voting in 1787. It was a negotiation between the 13 former colonies, the smaller ones being afraid of being outvoted by the more populous, if any other system was chosen. In the US likely one in ten or less is aware their vote is plebeian in nature. It doesn't help that the popular vote count is promoted by the media.

  • Little strange idea:

Joseph Biden is not the president elect of the United States. The State Houses held those Electoral College votes and the results of those votes must be transmitted, physically be moved to DC first session of Congress of both houses which will held the results. This old tradition  comes back from the founding of the Republic where the box of ballots is processed through Capitol Hill. On January 6th there is supposed to be a count of the Electoral College ballots. If that count is successful the man who is the sitting president of the Senate that van is Vice President Mike Pence can declare the president elect.

    However it's not that simple

If one Congressman and one Senator together decide not to accept the results of an electoral college vote there is no declaration, there is no president elect. Each attempt to stop the still will require by the Constitution two hours of debate on that objection.  And if there enough objections until January 18th then something very special happens. Our founding fathers truly were geniuses! If enough brave men and women stand up and say “No, not on my watch! We are not going to allow an endorsement of verification of a fraudulent election” then something called the contingent presidential election kicks in

And the House of Representatives chooses on next president and the Senate chooses a vice president

And the genius of the contingent election - which is how Thomas Jefferson became our president- is that it is not a simple vote of the members of the lower house which of course  would provide a Democrat Victory because democrats have majority with Nancy Pelosy as the speaker. It is a vote by the state delegations, by the party State delegations, one vote per state! And right now the GOP if you count the state delegation outnumber the Democrats by 7 votes. Therefore let me be clear anybody who mentions military operations to capture service anybody talks about the deployment of the military on American street is conning you they are lying to you, They are propagandists.

But there is a way for the president to win but it's very slim because it requires that the GOP, the machine party, that the Republicans have a spine and do the right thing now. Here's the good news he is a good we have a couple of brave man who said they're already going to do step up to the plate

  • And now final plan become clear

In a Friday night statement, West - a former Congressman and Iraq war veteran - said: "The Supreme Court, in tossing the Texas lawsuit that was joined by seventeen states and 106 US congressmen, have decreed that a state can take unconstitutional actions and violate its own election law. Resulting in damaging effects on other states that abide by the law, while the guilty state suffers no consequences. This decision establishes a precedent that says states can violate the US constitution and not be held accountable."

West then added: "This decision will have far reaching ramifications for the future of our constitutional republic. Perhaps law-abiding states should bond together and form a Union of states that will abide by the constitution."

  • Finally we know why Trump lost

Had President Trump prioritized legalization, Fetterman adds, he thinks the 2020 election would have turned out much worse for Democrats. “I think if Trump would have legalized weed and would have made a push for for pardons, and totally upended it and removed prohibition, I think he would have actually won quite handily.”

    Weed :-)

  • @tinbeo Not "deny", rather "take back the power to nominate electors". It's a constitutional fact (confirmed by the Supreme Court) that the State Legislatures have the authority, by way of joint resolution, to declare which persons will represent the State in the Electoral College. This is a proviso in the Constitution for when there is doubt about the "peasant" voting process and/or results. So, the (Democrat) governor can certify the election results, and the (Republican) majority in the State Legislature can say "Nay, we affirm that the will of the State is for these persons to represent the State in the Electoral College". As crazy as that seems, it's all in the US Constitution. “A republic, if you can keep it.” A Republic is a union of states, not a representative democracy. The ultimate play could be in Congress, if neither candidate makes it past the 270 mark. Each state has exactly one vote, regardless of the number of House representatives. The Republicans have majority in more state legislatures (it's 27-23 I think), hence MAGA, civil war, or smh.

I'm neither a US citizen nor do I live in the US, so it's all a movie to me, which could turn bad for the world at large.

  • After all hearing then what? Each State like Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia .. is going to deny their state certificate ? Are these states going to make up deadline on 12/8?

  • Michigan State Legislature hearing

  • @stonebat

AOC is actually quite far right social-democrat. She is considered as very left only because US keep all political spectrum very shifted to the right. She also always underlines that she is same business and capitalist servant as any other politicians around.

Left politicians are guys who seriously want to make means of production common. And from this it can range.

Usually in all countries public left are in big crisis, but not because it is some mental or other problem, but because left politicians want to be nice part of the system and want to keep nice usual or even rich life.

It is all shifting now, but it need tectonic shifts with such amount that Lenin position in 1917/18 will be considered very right (and he had been extreme left at the time). Modern left need to quit safe gold cages and stop cosplaying, as actual potential of present social system allow much more extreme things.

  • Yeah the far left is relative. For now, AOC. Of course it's likely to get far more extreme.

  • @stonebat what is a far left democrat? Never seem any. You talk of those who advocate bombing small muslim children with small bombs instead of big rainbow bombs? Or the ones that propose to intern mexicans in slums as oposed to cells with pinatas?

Maybe its the sanders guy, the one that spent the last 2 elections sponsoring war hawk lobby even after they shove some big party decisions democratically down his ass, this is the far left guy.
