  • I shoot this promo for the website of the Tango studio were I work. Moon T5, Nikon 50 1.4, no color correction, I used a cavision 4x4 polarizer. Sorry for the youtube compression...

  • I did this music video with Moon and the Magic SLR lenses...

  • @atibob szep munka Attila en is a Moon-t hasznalom a legjobb hack eddig...

  • GH2 + Olympus 45mm + Smoke = Cinema Mood

    Just testing . . . with "Redshift 1b".

    password: 2013

  • Using Moon t5 mostly Nikon non ai 50mm f1.4 and Canon fd 28mm f2.8. at 24p I had some frame drop with sandisk extreme 45mb 16GB but they were marginal. Cine profile -2 -2 -2 -2

  • Lens testing with the "Redshift 1b" (so far my favorite). Same picture profile (Smooth -2,-1,0,-1), same conditions, no color or levels manipulation (straight from the card). Recording format varies from 720 50p to 1080 24p. Export in 1080 24p and encoded in H264 with the Mainconcept Reference Encoder (2 passes, constant 33Mbps).

It's not a scientific test, I just wanted to test the different colors variation on portraits and human skin. Thanks my niece for her patience. Lenses tested:

    Pana Leica 14-50mm f/2.8-3.5 (4/3) Olympus 45mm f/1.8 (m4/3) Olympus 40-150mm f/4-5.6 (4/3)

Just download the Dropbox file (520MB), don't try streaming, it sucks. Conclusion are yours . . .

if Vitaliy thinks this is in a wrong section or it must be moved in another article, feel free to tell. Might be helpful for some . . .

  • guys, i don't remember which set i have applied to my GH2, because i have tried so many, ....now i can tell current one is fine and stable, but i am not sure which one is it........ Is it possible to somehow find out which set is used on current firmware?

  • @dado023 I guess you've already looked at the latest creation date of the old firmware file(s) you've created in Ptool? I was afraid of the same thing happening to me so I color code the latest loaded GH2 hack file on my computer. I'm not sure there's a way through the camera. It's still gonna say Version 1.1.... I think.

Sorry I can't be more helpful

  • @maddog15
thanks for the response, i have just compared the dates of downloads and GH2__V12.bin file, and it seems at the moment my GH2 runs on "Slipstream 1b".....i wonder how it compares in quality with "Redshift 1b" ? anyone tested both of these?

  • two lovers - moon t5 - leica 45mm

  • @Butt ; funny, I made a similar video a few weeks ago (June 18 p33)

  • Another test of Moon T5, with a Sony TV zoom 12.5-75mm f/1.8 in ETC mode (24p H).

    Ungraded version here (password: ungraded)

(thanks to Nick Driftwood and Vitaliy Kiselev)

  • Moon trial 5.

SMC Takumar 55/1.8 (mostly shot 1.8-4); ISO 3200; Nostalgic -2 all; slight curves adjustments, Neat Video noise reduction. Last image/screen shot was a still at ISO 160, 40sec exposure, f/8

  • Grasshopper - Leica 45mm

  • Shot this with Drewnet T8 a couple months back. I really love how well this held up with all the low light and movement. Definitely recommend these settings for anyone shooting something like this.

  • @andy68 that is so awesome. I actually had a "what is life?" moment when watching it. Brilliant!

Sometimes Personal-View is the best website on the internet!

  • @chickenpusher

Outstanding "branding" piece on a range of levels. Looks really great. I wish I was there.

  • Another short promo for an upcoming product launch. Forgive the shitty sound, we lost a wireless mic right before we started, so instead of one with a lav and one boomed, we just boomed em both. Turned out a little hollow sounding. Whatdda gonna do! Shot with Moon5 and a Rokinon 24mm Cine.

  • Here's the main promo shot with Moon5 and Rokinon Cine lenses once again. I know this topic will be a huge hit on this board!! :)

  • @vicharris You sir, crack me up. (Your email comment via my iPhone made me rush to click and see what you posted!)

All kidding aside.. Beautiful shots. Really like the lighting, especially in the second spot. Ambient light from all around. (Like overcast days...my favorite to shoot in.) Attractive talent always helps :)

I've gotta check out the lens mentioned above. Been mulling over the Voitlander Nokton 17.5mm or 25mm. Really love the results Moon T5 gives me with my 20 year old Pentax 50mm. Getting off topic... sorry.

  • @vicharris, good job, very organic.

Offtopic: That lens its very cinematographic. I dont know ina possible buy that or the Nokton or SLR Magic.

  • @maddog15 @Manu4Vendetta Thanks guys. I used the side of a house as a huge bounce for the lighting in the second one with some 1k and LED fills and backlights here and there.

BTW, what lens are ya'll talking about?

  • Hey guys.. I have loaded Moon T6c and I run into a problem when trying to work on it. Some of the videos will load fine in Sony Vegas and some won’t. When I check the properties of a specific video file that won’t load properly in a timeline this is what it shows.
