As you can sell virtually any camera, it is more like $300 unofficial discount.

This worked. The Voldemort Y7. They thought it was a BlackMagic micro cinema camera! just kidding :) ....note the paper sticker with distance markings on the zoom lens!
@eatstoomuchjam - Thanks, here's a link to the B&H page of qualifying cameras (G9, GH5, and GH5s):

@LPowell The $300 discount is in addition to the trade-in value - so for your GH2, you'd be getting $438, not $138.... and $138 seems pretty much what I'd expect for a GH2. That's a camera that was released 8 years ago and which the same retailers sell used for about $300.
@Firworks The form at Adorama seems to be more permissive - it was willing to accept the Yi M1, but it won't give back an instant value like B&H. I put in a Nikon D70 out of curiosity and it came up. I think you have to wait for their salesperson to write you back. Once they do, they may still say that your camera is ineligible. Good luck!
Procedure is that as soon as you ship item, before inspection, they send you discount.
Means that they do not care much.
