Procedure is that as soon as you ship item, before inspection, they send you discount.
Means that they do not care much.
@LPowell The $300 discount is in addition to the trade-in value - so for your GH2, you'd be getting $438, not $138.... and $138 seems pretty much what I'd expect for a GH2. That's a camera that was released 8 years ago and which the same retailers sell used for about $300.
@Firworks The form at Adorama seems to be more permissive - it was willing to accept the Yi M1, but it won't give back an instant value like B&H. I put in a Nikon D70 out of curiosity and it came up. I think you have to wait for their salesperson to write you back. Once they do, they may still say that your camera is ineligible. Good luck!
