    At least now you can buy a set of three Noktons for video and be done with it. :-) Well, maybe add the Olympus 12mm -- If only the BMCC was active MFT.

    Maybe 42.5 x2 sensor crop to make it 85mm 35mmsensor FOV ?

    Does seem in line a bit with the 17mm (approx 35mm 35mmsensor FOV) and 25mm (approx 50mm 35mmsensor FOV)

    full-frame 35mm speaking a set of 35,50,85 focal lengths is quite common.

    This is great news! Hope they make also 12mm (possibly 0.95) :-) 12, 17.5, 25, 42.5 would be a great set ...

    According to http://dc.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/news/20130131_585912.html The lens has the "video-friendly" clickless aperture system, minimum focusing distance of 23cm and maximum magnification ratio 1:4. It would be interesting to compare the Nokton to the coming 42.5mm f/1.2 from Panasonic, whenever that shows up.

    May be, plus they want to fill the holes.

    Many people exist who want to get 12mm, 13mm, 14mm,.... 40mm, 42.5mm, 45mm, 50mm, .... lens set :-)
