The Queen in 3D
  • She will make history as she becomes the first Royal to appear in the new format in her Christmas Day speech, after Prince William refused to allow 3D cameras to film his wedding last year.

The 86-year-old monarch was filmed by the hi-tech cameras last Friday. They will make the Queen seem more life-like to those watching on a 3D television. Most 3D TVs require special glasses.

She talks about the celebration of her Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics — where she appeared in the opening ceremony film alongside James Bond.

The Queen’s speech was recorded by BSkyB, who will make it available to the BBC and ITV.

Interesting. I though that queen regime collapsed, as well as 3D. Big surprise.
