That's a ridic vid - the 5DIII is what, 5? 6 yrs old? It's just not going to convert as well, plus it's not converting from a 1:1 pixel read.

Regardless, it's a 1080p camera that captures at 1080p

The only thing ridiculous about that video is that someone still seems to feel that it's necessary in May of 2015 to point out that the video resolution on the 5D Mark III (and other Canon DSLR's) is closer to 720p than it is to 1080p. This has been known for years already. Quality from a Mark III with magic lantern recording raw is closer to 1080p.
