Due to overwhelming demand new orders may not ship until January.
Olympus finally found books made by car makers marketers in last century.
I like the footage coming out of this camera, but it is stupidly overpriced. For $2K your camera better have at least a full frame sensor. They need to drop the price at least $500-600 to make it competitive.

More unboxing madness
@ Vitaliy_Kiselev - a comprehensive video review like Max Yuryev's review of the Fujifilm XT-2. I want to see its color out of the camera, particularly on faces. The EM-1 mark 2's IBIS is the best you can get, a big deal for me, since my style is to work as unobtrusively as possible. If its color rendition of faces is reasonable, I will probably go for it. Still, my heart is with the XT-2 and its Astia film profile. Fujifilm has some reasonable IS zoom lenses, but the fast primes do not have it.
@Vitaly I don't know why you need to mock Olympus in terms of marketing vs product value. I don't know anyone on the planet that has but stabilisation of this quality in a camera so far...or are they hiding somewhere. Its a unique product and therefore deserves a high premium.
What kind of review you want to see? Something specific?
Still waiting for a genuine review for video.

The big question of course surrounds the price; at £1849.99 body only, Olympus has pitched the E-M1 II higher than some exceptionally capable competition. For example the Nikon D500 currently sells for around £1730, and is the best APS-C format DSLR we’ve yet seen, with superb high ISO capability up to ISO 51,200 and uncanny autofocus tracking. Then there’s the £1400 Fujifilm X-T2, which is currently everybody’s favourite APS-C mirrorless model, also with very impressive autofocus and continuous shooting capabilities.

Very clever to raise the quality by 2 percent and the price by 50 percent.
Get used to it.

Convince me if E-M1 II will turn gimbal and glidecam into absolute.
No. Not possible. Just understand how different stabilization techniques differ.
Convince me if E-M1 II will turn gimbal and glidecam into absolute.
Is it possible?Hands-on
