New firmware is available for this lens
The unstable operations, when photographing very bright subjects while using the DMC-GF6, DMC-G6, or DMC-GH3 cameras from Panasonic, have been corrected.

Yeah I'm expecting this kinda things. I have the SLR Magic 12mm f1.6 and it's too hazy for me wide open. So perhaps the clinicality (is that even a word?) of the Oly might be better for my uses. I'm worried about the manual handling but its price is low enough to give it a go and see.
This lens is great optically but was horrendous to match with more manual glass, especially the other voigtlander lenses I have. It really doesn't fit unless you are using panasonic glass or olympus (although it even has a quite different look than panasonic) but it is just very clinical looking. And the handlig is horrible on it. Its so small and the focus ring is almost impossible to pull focus with.
Looks like a tasty and affordable lens indeed. Might very well be my next lens in the search for low light performance...
The most underrated lens for video in M4/3?
Mixed with another lenses.
I know by references Zuiko is excellent in this photo still, but watching the video continues to surprise me, it's very organic. It's amazing, that not expensive, is fast and has an organic look.
This one is just amazing glass. I love it I relly do. All m43 users sould have one.
Pick your favorite Bokeh/lens combo Olly 45, Helios 45m, Rokkor 58, Vivitar 55 macro http://www.flickr.com/photos/42226428@N03/ Wide open and slightly stopped down. Straight OOC, zero contrast, sharpening, whatever, applied.

LOL
Look at first post, click on ebay link. Most of options have free express shipping, so lens will be in your hands in 3-5 days.
You have 14-45mm, so you can perfectly check that lenses in this range you really need.
Ok well, I want to be able to take street photos as well as portraits for the video side. As far as the video, I want to be able to shoot narrative mid ranged shots mainly including a persons waist up. I am going to, and have been, shooting cinematic music videos and want to start investing in fixed focal length lenses. I hope this is enough info, because I am quite lost on the whole subject myself haha. I have no idea where to go with the few lenses I have. I wish there was a Hierarchy of essential lenses for beginners.
45mm, 20mm and 14mm are great set. But different lenses for different purposes. So your question is strange. You need to get the lens that you really need first.
One of newer reviews of this must have lens.

I'm not saying the price will go up, but I would gladly pay $600 for that lens if that was the only option.
Spring has sprung. It's time for outdoor portraits.
My ebay seller of the lens raised the price from $329 to $385.
There is another seller selling it at $338. Get it before they raise the price.
