    Yep. I can attest to this. I grew up in Kenya and and over the last decade the whole country has been completely transformed due to Chinese investments. New roads, railroads, high rises, etc. Around 10% of Kenya's national debt is now owed to china and that happened over the last decade. Will be interesting to see if china wants to be a long term partner, or just another world power taking advantage of the natural resources and using corrupt local politicians as a means to control local laws and policies.
