    Irix Cine 30mm T1.5

The Irix Cine 30mm T1.5 is a full-frame cine lens for sensor resolutions up to 8K. It is an excellent lens for interviews and medium wide shots of your subject. You will get 45mm (1.5x) on a crop sensor.

    Ready for ANY weather conditions

Rain or Shine. The rugged and durable construction of the Irix Cine 30mm guarantees that you can keep on working with whatever the weather throws at you. The lens is resistant to rain, sand and dust. So you can take it on your next adventure to the desert or the jungle (if your camera can handle those environments). The engraved markings on the lens have been filled with UV light reactive paint, which makes filming in low-light conditions much easier.

    Functionality and Innovation

All Irix Cine lenses have similar dimensions and weight to allow for quick and easy lens changes without having to change the rest of your setup. The lenses are equipped with our Magnetic Mount System (MMS) to connect accessories such as magnetic filters or a lens hood (not included with this lens).

    Irix Cine Standard

The Irix Cine 30mm T1.5 was designed according to the standards of the professional film industry, resulting in a combination of traditional lens solutions and modern innovation. The Irix Cine 30mm has a front filter thread of 86mm, a standard diameter of 95mm and geared Mod 0.8M rings, which ensure compatibility with most accessories available on the markt. Irix is a young brand, but thanks to the fifth lens in its line-up, we're filling up the set, covering most of the common focal lenghts. All our lenses are carefully tested to meet the hightest standards. And we don't play around with them. We make sure that all of our lenses are compatible. Starting with our own neutrino coating, which provides color-matching with all Irix lenses, to the same weight and gear positions.

    New and improved lens cap

We have listened to requests from our customers to redesign our lens cap. The previous one didn't allow you to leave the lens up-side down. The improved cap is flat and slides over the top of the lens. Thanks to this you can now leave your lens upside down on a table and not worry about it wobbling anymore!

  • It isn't clear, can the rear lens mounts be swapped? (say PL for EF, and back again)
