The administration pointed to the Claiborne Expressway in New Orleans and Interstate 81 in Syracuse, New York as two examples of “long-standing and persistent racial oppression” .
The plan set forth by Biden would see billions spent on an effort to “reconnect neighborhoods” by destroying current highways and replacing them by new super cheap and badly build black ghettos, of course new projects will “advance racial equity and environmental justice.”
Btw, many BLM groups fight for destroying many factories and energy infrastructure also calling them as racist stuff. It is nice way to make US and Africa equal.
Source please, for BLM doing that. Have you been to average US City @Vitaliy? The interstate always cuts right though the formerly thriving black neighborhoods.

Indeed, but solution is not simple but stupid thing to destroy them, at least until you have present car based approach.
Some EU countries clerks made huge income source out of this - they destroyed larger roads and highways and after this they introduced huge fines on parking and restrictions on entering the city in your car. Most of them have income that is 2-3x larger now (in real content, not just numbers).
As far as I checked the book on zoning - no one actually cared at the time if it is black or not, only some rich areas had been more safe and only if they had some other option to build roads.

It is summary statement, as BLM guys did so many things in the past year. They clearly asked to destroy coal and gas power plants and had been asked to tell this by their democratic informational sponsors. Same goes for factories that some people deem as dangerous or unfit and such.
