Dummy battery voltage

Is it safe to give the dummy battery 9v? It says 8.4v, but maybe there is some latitude.

What is the problem to give it 8.4v? If you so much need it you can use small DC-DC converter.

Hi Vitaliy, the powerbank I am using has settings for 6, 9 and 12v. I would like to use my Panasonic made dummy battery with the powerbank on 9v without having to insert any DC/DC modules.
