    • Despite population growth, 2050 global energy use could be reduced to 1960 levels
    • This requires advanced technologies & reductions in demand to sufficiency levels
    • For US meat consumption is planned to cut by 8 times, water consumption by 20x times

  • Work from home seems to be reserved for the elite manager class - they get to complain about 20 zoom meetings a day in between editing spreadsheets or in-house web platforms while Ellen Degeneres or pornhub are on the television/monitor. The rest of us have to drive to work and put up with fellow, hostile groundling employees while dealing with staff cuts and six-sigma task piling that the at-home managers come up with

Well, you can think about US and EU of kind of managers/designers/services part of whole company. All this nice managers are mostly related to some sweating workers in Asia. Or same overworked Indian software developers.

  • And here lies foundation:

The idea for a fossil fuel nonproliferation treaty publicly launched in September this year at New York City’s Climate Week. It’s still in its early days, but the treaty’s supporters plan to base it on the same three principles as the 1970 Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons: nonproliferation, disarmament, and the “peaceful” development of new energy technology. In this case, nonproliferation would mean an end to new coal, oil, and gas production. “Disarmament” would phase out existing “stockpiles” of fossil fuels. And where the third pillar of the original nuclear arms treaty supported the transition of nuclear technologies and research from weapons-making to energy, a new treaty would push for a “peaceful transition” from fossil fuels to renewables.

Such way ruling class want to turn their crime (horrible resource usage that turns most of them into trash) into big information attack aimed into blaming ordinary people. And telling them about horrible warming.

May be also someone will remind us on how "1970 Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons" worked? In reality it did not work good, all it did is ensured that smaller countries won't have power to resist the invader, countries that ignored this turned out to be very right.
