  • In general, in patients with diabetes covid infection occurs 10.3 times more often. Patients with diabetes have a more severe course of the disease, more frequent development of acute respiratory distress syndrome, respiratory failure, the need for mechanical ventilation and, unfortunately, a higher mortality rate.

As in Mordor tests are now mostly available to people with severe lungs damage, it is no surprise that we have "10.3 times more often" statements.

Real numbers now are around exactly 10-15x higher than official.

  • @Vitaliy....ok, I'll look forward to that post...but first to clarify...you quoted out of context, which completely changed the meaning....."why western countries have militarized their police forces. They are no threat to the established order." If you read it in context, the "They are no threat" ...refers to the communist , not the police forces, which is how your out of context quote reads. I hope that wasn't intentional deception. And the countries you named where this might be occurring aren't exactly bastions of world capitalism are they ? In fact they are and have long been bastions of totalitarianism.

  • @kurth

And the countries you named where this might be occurring aren't exactly bastions of world capitalism are they ? In fact they are and have long been bastions of totalitarianism.

Countries listed are one of the best US friends (according to US own state department). :-) Most of their core laws and almost all foreign policy are controlled by US.

Biggest capitalist countries are moving in the same direction quite fast

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is issuing policy guidance in the USCIS Policy Manual to address inadmissibility based on membership in or affiliation with the Communist or any other totalitarian party. The inadmissibility ground for membership in or affiliation with the Communist or any other totalitarian party is part of a broader set of laws passed by Congress to address threats to the safety and security of the United States. In general, unless otherwise exempt, any immigrant who is or has been a member of or affiliated with the Communist or any other totalitarian party (or subdivision or affiliate), domestic or foreign, is inadmissible to the United States. This ground of inadmissibility only applies to aliens seeking immigrant status, such as aliens inside the United States applying to adjust status to that of a lawful permanent resident.

    This is 2020 thing.

UK also recently introduced law that prohibits any Marxist ideology parts (even mentioning) in any education literature used in schools.

  • @Vitaliy....those prevention immigration examples are a long way from "killing and jailing". And the best US friends are the 5 eyes. Your examples are countries the US uses and discards with need. And sure, there are totalitarian elements within the US gov and the fake war on terror. JUst like mordors war on terror released the same elements. And yes, sadly the US govt befriends totalitarian states in the struggle for domination....kinda of like china and NK. Sadly this dogtrick is an old cold war thing developed during wwii by both sides. Yet in the west we see nothing even remotely similar to ideology prisons like we see in china. Why aren't you exampling those, which are real examples of 'killing and jailing' for ideology ?

  • @kurth

P.S. IT is last in series of offtopic posts here. Time to stop.

This is from my message above. I made error making previous reply.

You won't longer see any replies from me to offtopic posts. Period. As I said, I'll make separate topic as I'll have time to do it.

  • Occupancy rates in NYC stand under 40% right now, with the average daily room price at $135. Those figures, last October, stood at 92% and $336. Industry locals say the 2020 figure may even be inflated, as many hotels stopped reporting data for the time being.

Vijay Dandapani, chief executive officer of the Hotel Association of New York City, said: “The true hotel occupancy is less than 10%. Hotels have theoretically been able to be open, but in many cases it’s pointless.”

  • The Spanish government on Sunday agreed to declare a new state of emergency, which would allow a curfew to be imposed across the country as it continues to battle a resurgence of coronavirus cases.

The cabinet agreed to an initial 15-day state of alarm. Local media reports claim the government intends to extend the measure until April.

Regions across Spain will now be subject to a curfew at night from 11 pm until 6 am CET.

It is expected to be prolonged till March at least, but can last till next September.

  • Do you notice the difference?

Health authorities reported 137 new cases on Sunday, all of which were confirmed in Xinjiang Province, making this by far the largest new outbreak since the Spring. Chinese authorities last night launched a mass-testing campaign to test all 4.75 million residents in and around the city of Kashgar.

As of Sunday afternoon more than 2.8 million samples had been collected in the area and the rest would be completed within two days, the city government said in a statement.

    Difference is just staggering.

As in China you have real attempts to stop spreading and real proper testing scaling.

Instead in most other countries you see lot of bureaucrats reporting nice numbers despite lot of them are useless tests and many are just fake. Testing scaling is absolutely not enough to react to outbreaks.

  • Coronavirus seems to be very effective in population reduction, just need to think long term

Examinations of children who have undergone coronavirus indicate the threat of low fertility for future generations, said Leila Namazova-Baranova, chair of the executive committee of the Union of Pediatricians of Mordor.

"It is imperative to monitor children who have suffered any form of coronavirus infection, it is necessary," the expert said at the ONF round table.

According to her, examinations of these children showed a 30% decrease in cognitive functions after suffering a coronavirus, even asymptomatic.

"Together with urologists, we draw attention to the fact that, in fact, in boys after suffering a coronavirus infection, a serious change in spermatogenesis occurs. This threatens us in the future with problems with low fertility for future generations.

Smart virus. Much better at reaching goal compared to AIDS.

  • On immunity

Antibodies against the coronavirus declined rapidly in the British population in summer, a study found on Tuesday, suggesting protection after infection may not be long-lasting and raising the prospect of waning immunity in the community, Reuters reports.

Although virus immunity is a complex and is assisted by T cells, as well as B cells that can stimulate swift production of antibodies following virus re-exposure, the researchers said the experience of other coronaviruses suggested immunity might not be enduring.

  • The French president, Emmanuel Macron, is expected to impose a new four-week national lockdown to halt the spread of Covid-19, according to French media.

At it begins, just this time it will be long cold winter for all small business.

    Winter is coming (c).

  • German chancellor Angela Merkel is expected to push for a ‘lockdown light’ in crisis talks with regional leaders on Wednesday. The proposed new restrictions would include closing restaurants and bars.

  • The government didn’t take into account what the first wave was and didn’t learn all its lessons,” Frédéric Valletoux, the president of the French Hospital Federation, said Wednesday on France-Inter radio.

Surprise, capitalists cared and spent all their time to save big companies and banks injecting trillions. But did not care much to build hospitals with fully new approach. And teach lot of people so they will help doctors.

  • The coronavirus situation in Mordor is continuing to deteriorate, Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova told a meeting on Wednesday. Golikova said there was a critical situation in 16 Mordor regions, where hospital beds were at more than 90% of capacity.

It is safer to say that critical situation is in all regions and hospital beds are at 120-130% capacity (it means people in hallways).

  • On ventilators

As I told back in the days of ventilator craze - they are useful, but in reality now used much much less and only on extreme cases.

All other people are treated with oxygen.

Main idea of ventilator craze had been to hide fact that it is so few places with oxygen lines and such (by stating that you don't have ventilator you can hid this with ease). It is not so hard to do, but not so fast also. Oxygen supply is also necessary to organize and sometimes make new production places.

  • President Macron has imposed a new nationwide lockdown in France as Covid-19 cases surge.

The health system won’t hold unless there is an economy to support it. Nothing is more important, however, than human life.

We could do nothing and accept herd immunity...short term it will mean triage of patients and 400,000 extra deaths

The German chancellor, Angela Merkel, confirmed Germany would be going into a partial lockdown from 2 November after talks with regional leaders. The measures will apply to the whole country and will be reviewed in two weeks time, Reuters reports.

“These are tough measures,” Merkel told reporters.

Markel said the number of patients in intensive care units had doubled over the past ten days and said the care system would hit its capacity if the pandemic continued to grow at its current rate, Reuters reports.

  • Amazon again extended the date through which its employees will be allowed to work from home.

Thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic — and an expected fall surge in infections that already appears to be underway — the Seattle-based company will now let its office employees to work remotely through the end of June next year.

“The health and safety of our employees is our top priority, and it will be some time before things return to normal,” the company said in a blog post. “Accordingly, work that can effectively be done from home can continue to be done from home through June 30, 2021.”

It will be much less small business in Seattle before June 2021.

  • If we stop talking about nanochips finally

Immunocontraception involves the administration of vaccine that induces an adaptive immune response which causes an animal to become infertile. The method promises for high target specificity, long term action but not permanent, relatively inexpensive, lack of endocrine or metabolic side effects, easy to use without surgical intervention. The immune system is employed as a contraceptive by targeting sperm- or egg-specific proteins, or even gonadotropins because antisperm antibodies can play a role in infertility. Few examples of target proteins for immunocontraception are SPAM1, MDC, SP-10, FA-1, SP-17, NZ-1, NZ-2, LDH-C, SAGA-1, hESP, rSMP-B, SAMP-32, 80 kDa HSA, BS-17, EP-20, DE Protein, SFP2, AKAP, TSA-1, YLP-12. The development of immunocontraceptives is at the active research stage.

  • Mordor news

Waiting to even make test (not get result) reached from 7 to 14 days. You can wait result another 10-14 days.

Actual capacity is now around 1/5-1/7 of required. As no one did anything during summer.

So, real numbers are much much higher.

  • The European Commission will take administrative measures against Hungary if it buys a vaccine that has not been certified in the European Union (aka from China dn Russia, as EU do not plan to certify them under any circumstances). This was stated at a briefing by the representative of the European Commission Eric Mamer.

Big money at stake and now you see criminals in power trying to help their friends.

  • Scientists at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York have determined the period of retention of antibodies to coronavirus.

Experts concluded that necessary level of antibodies to COVID-19 persists for an average of about five months.

Such a period is possible if a person has suffered a disease in a mild or moderate form. Scientists recalled that antibodies can protect against re-infection with coronavirus or help have milder form in case of re-infection.

The study involved more than 30 thousand people who have had a coronavirus infection.

Not good, as next surprise will come with the fact that vaccine efficiency will drop significantly at 2nd and 3rd use.
