I recently picked up one of these as an upgrade for my G7, and the quality is amazing! I especially like the 6K Photo Mode, which I've been using in 3:2 aspect ratio for 5K video after cropping. I thought I was going to be using the 4K60 a lot, but it's so hard to say no to 18MP 200mbps 10bit H265 video files. Resolve reads it in fine on the free version too, which I wasn't sure of. But yeah, being able to downsample to 4K gives crazy sharp results. Here's a video I put up recently which was taken using this technique (all except for one 4k60 clip in the middle):

The stills quality is also great as well. Has anyone done any comparisons of CineD vs Natural on this camera? I'm wondering which one has better DR and color.

Video-centric features include zebra patterns (two options, each with adjustable thresholds), time stamp recording, a centre marker, two ‘Cinelike’ gamma profiles with adjustable parameters (D and V, both essentially flatter than the photo presets), and ‘4K Live Cropping’ (for automatic zooms and pans with 2K recording). The full capabilities of the ‘Dual I.S.’ five-axis image stabilisation are also available. Of course, this is really just the basics compared to the GH5, but it’s still more than enough for even the more dedicated video-maker.

Functionality also includes continuous autofocusing with subject tracking, the full set of ‘PASM’ exposure modes, adjustable sensitivity and exposure compensation, lens corrections, dynamic range and resolution processing, many of the ‘Creative Control’ effects, and the rest of the ‘Photo Style’ picture presets.
