WD 6TB My Book USB 3.0 External Hard Drive for Mac $150

I am always confused what makes a HD a "for Mac" product. Every PC HD works on Mac. Apart from maybe USBC, (which isn't Apple exclusive tech).
I have even been able to get unformatted drives working on Mac (just a bit of a hastle).

Just preformatted. :-) Mostly marketing.

So Mac users can't format their drive with disc utility? Sorry, as a Mac user I have never understood this marketing. It actually makes it confusing.

It works perfectly.
Same for accessories.
People always search like "hard drive for Mac Pro" :-) Guess that offers will be on top.
