    Much better option than Zoom H1, much less handling noise and more features including double level recording and remote control.

    Are you sure this has dual level recording? I don't see that feature listed.

    Really double level recording? The "dual recording" feature of this recorder only seems to mean that an mp3 file is recorded along with the wav file. But I would be happy if I got this wrong.

    Yep, my fault, as dual level recording is now present on almost each Tascam recorders, but here it is replaced by dual format. By idea you can kind of replace it with mode where it reduces the gain upon peak encounter and also enable peak region marking, so you can instantly fix it via audio levels curve, if needed.
