The overall look of the images is very good, with nice colour, lovely bokeh and very well controlled CA (Chromatic Aberration). CA is in fact even lower than the already impressive 50mm f/2 from the same range. Distortion measures at -1.57% barrel. CA and distortion can, in any event, be corrected in software

Everyone's favorite Neewer also sells the lens, apparently. All of them except the f/0.95 one. I picked one up for the Sony NEX-5r that I got on ebay for $100. I'll post some samples soon, but it seems to be pretty decent. The build quality is excellent, it's packaged very well and comes with a cleaning cloth and small pouch.

I hope to do a more in depth review soon. My brother was about to leave for camp, so I managed to grab these quick shots. The focus may not have been perfect, but so far so good.

Hi... just a thought... Can I use meike 35mm F1.7 with Canon EFS mount, and put it with my lensturbo EF to MFT adapter and get the best result? Technically it will be 50mm lens with F 1.2 what a great buy...

They started making Canon RF and Nikon Z versions of this lens.
