Specs
The Fujifilm X70 camera creates great looking photographs in a model with plenty of advanced features. It is small enough to fit in a large pocket, making it easier to carry this camera around than, say, an entry-level DSLR, even though the image quality of both types of cameras is similar. However, the X70 has no optical zoom lens, which will disappoint some photographers. One of the best things I can say about the Fujifilm X70 is that nearly every time I took it out for a set of test photos, I found another interesting feature or setting to try. Part of the reason that occurred is because the X70's design is a little tough to figure out completely until you've used it for a while. But it also speaks to the large number of cool features and settings this camera has. And the more time you spend with the X70, the more natural its interface and physical design will feel to you.

Latest Fijifilm cameras are quite good.
While the X70 will film 1080 video at 24 to 60p, the quality like other bodies with X-Trans II sensors, isn't always great. There are certainly better compacts for video available.

The Fujifilm X70 is an ultra-stylish compact camera with a larger APS-C CMOS sensor, and a compact 28mm equivalent f/2.8 lens, which means it gives DSLR image quality, with good noise performance in low light.

Played with one at work today. Only thing I could comment on as a negative is the thinness of the dials on top. Takes some getting used to, mainly the shutter speed dial since it's kind of closed in. Everything else is what you'd expect from Fuji.
The X70's sensor and lens are very much a winning combination, delivering outstanding image quality almost throughout the entire ISO range, which now runs up to 51,200. You'd be hard-pushed to tell any difference between still or moving images from the X70 and the X100T, so if you want excellent image quality from the smallest possible X-series camera, then the X70 certainly delivers the goods.
so can we assume this is the old sensor, so the video will be crap ?
I do like that they've dropped the view finder, as it does make the camera smaller and cheaper (too important points in a point and shoot compact for me!). But wish they've kept the 23mm lens in the X100 series as that is a bit more general purpose use lens that I'd prefer rather than only the wiiide angle 18.5mm the X70 has :-/
