Any ideas for a good and cheap 22" editing monitor?

    Need a small monitor for editing a large project. My Macbook Air 11, i7 2.0Ghz, 8GB (which works great with FCPX and while travelling) gets a bit tiring on longer editing periods. Cheers

    As the Dell P2415Q has dropped in price to just slightly more than the Samsung U24E590D - which is a better value? Both are 24" displays. Dell looks to be 10 bit where the Samsung is 8bit. I read the Dell is edge lit (could be wrong about that) and the Samsung is back lit. HDMI 2.0 on the Samsung and it has what seems to be a useful PIP mode... if it weren't for the 8 bit, I would pick the Samsung...

    Which is the better monitor for using with Resolve for color grading and for my NX1 in the studio and in the field?
