Is there any way to see audio level during motion picture recording in GH2? This feature is standard in any camcorder and is very useful when using external mic

Do you mean - it is possible without any hacks and I simply can not find it inside manual?

That is exactly my problem: I set MIC.LEVEL DISP.=ON in menu but do not see anything on screen during recording.

Read manual further on different information states on screen, from none to full.
