Sold: Minolta Rokkor 35mm Shift CA 2.8 Lens
  • This is on of the 'Big Three' form Rokkor, a much prized lens with shift abilities as well as variable field curvature. Lens has a beautiful look and very versatile on any sized sensor. Good condition, some minor wear on the paint at the corners of knobs and shift plates, but really in great shape for a lens of it's age. The only two defects are that the focus ring gets rather stiff when the VFC function is set to it's maximum convex setting. Only then, buttery smooth all other times. The other is a pair of tiny cleaning marks/scratches on the upper left section of the front element. Does not make any noticeable impact on the image. 55mm filter thread. Made in Japan.

Asking $475 shipped CONUS. Local inspection/pickup available in Austin, TX. International shipping will be extra depending on location.

  • Highly recommended! Not only usable to shoot a first person POV in a mirror without seeing the camera, but great for photographing wide panoramic backgrounds without nasty double contours. Like the Zeiss C/Y 35mm PC, the image quality of that 35mm is extraordinary, since it has to be corrected for a wider image area than FF. It was lucky to get one like never used at all for 300,- € two years ago when nobody was looking. I considered it a bargain even then, these beasts are rare. Go for it if you can!
