it's 2nd time I watch this video. I don't like the black frame at all.
if I had to mimic old school vids, I'll go 4:3 or even 5:4, wide angle, no tripod (in most shots), strong diagonals, movement/empathy, A LOT of camera confrontation/playing, show the hood, what's important to you, what you love, GRAINY (with real grain - there's a lot of free samples for download), scratchy, little organic flicker, moldy, blurry - those late 80's first nighties' cameras and distribution copies...
