ETC mode hack possibilities

    whats the possibility of changing the aspect ratio of the ETC mode with the hack? could that allow higher resolutions?

    ive asked this question a few times a few diff places without a response. feel free to delete the topic if the answers already out there.

    If we could get etc mode @ 2k by 1080 resolution with at least hdmi out for monitor and focus,( focus-assist and external video recording not necessary for me) it would be huge for me

    yes that would be huge- but also hugely different from the original firmware and quite a bit different from higher bitrates... so long wait or more possibly- no dice for this ..
