US: Food prices will rise by another 30% soon

    Rapidly rising production costs and uncertainty about the direction of commodity prices have made an important contribution to the decline in sentiment. According to a monthly survey, about 44% of farmers cited production costs as their biggest concern for the coming year.

    Nearly six out of ten farmers predict that agricultural input prices will be at least 30% higher this year compared to 2021.
