War: South Korea is first who will hurt Apple and Google
  • The South Korean National Assembly has passed legislation amendments that threaten the dominance of tech giants over how apps on their platforms sell their digital goods. Once signed by President Moon Jae-in, it will become law.

Amendments are being made to South Korea's Telecommunications Business Law, which prohibits large application market operators from requiring the use of their own payment systems to purchase applications. The law also prohibits operators from unreasonably delaying the moderation of apps or unreasonably removing them from stores.

My personal opinion is that corporations are ready for such laws and formally they will meet them but in reality nothing much will change.
