What do we know about the novel coronavirus?

  • @Knotbar....she doesn't even insinuate it's size of population related, as if by some miracle it's not going to wipeout spain. Same in mexico. AMLO said today that there's no way this virus will threaten mexico....like by aztec magic...same as macron. Sadly, it will be tragic. What I'm seeing is ....they're attempting to prolong the inevitable destruction of the economy by keeping the people in the dark. @Vitaliy ....the reason there's runs on stores in the USa and not in other countries, is because there's 300million guns, and if the crisis reaches the point of social disorder, then those stores not protected by the military will be owned by criminal groups. Same in mexico. And yes it's classic marxism....the power resides in who controls the means of production....i.e. factories. But even landownership isn't what it used to be. And you can see in mexico that resources can be appropriated by criminal groups at a national level. So what's different now since marx, or even trotsky is that weapons are on a level with means of production. Criminal groups in mexico are stealing almost half the national petroleum. So that's why there's preppers. The govt won't be able to equally distribute the resources because criminal, semi political groups will be in the wild. In mex they already control whole states !

  • ....the reason there's runs on stores in the USa and not in other countries

Well, run on stores are not only in US. :-) EU and Australia are not much different.

But even landownership isn't what it used to be. And you can see in mexico that resources can be appropriated by criminal groups at a national level. Not much is different, as all this criminals are not some fully autonomous idiots.

Big criminal groups usually are part of big imperialist cartels, groups and corporations. Just "unofficial" parts.

Main goal is to scare, divide and conquer. Mexico case is good illustration as such structure had been chosen to control quite problematic population. If not such criminal things it had been much more expensive to have factory workers in Mexico for all major US corporations. And it won't be so much cheap labor force in US.

In first half of 20th century very similar gangs had been also widely used in US.

  • TSMC has informed its suppliers that regulations to enter its factory sites in Taiwan have been tightened, given the spread of the virus worldwide. Suppliers with travel history to European countries have to self-isolate for 14 days before they are allowed to enter TSMC premises.

TSMC also disclosed suppliers and visitors entering TSMC are required to make entry reservations and fill in health declaration forms provided by the company. TSMC added it continues to monitor the outbreak and will implement further countermeasures if necessary.

Taiwan is the most strange country for now, concerning coronavirus.

  • My present conspiracy theory on this

    1. Virus is artificial bioweapon grade lab made thing, specially modified
    2. Had been released on Chinese soil by most right wing part of Chinese elites, they also had special cover plans to hide this exact moment and place
    3. Yet US and EU where the ones behind original idea that they suggested to their Chinese side friends and assured of the result. Planted virus was slightly modified from the one Chinese side though it will be.
    4. They hoped it'll all end trade wars and somehow will reverse the inevitable, Chinese side also did not have other choices, as with begging tensions this part was quickly loosing influence, support of business and power.
    5. US and EU looked at this from their own PoV, never kept any promise made and use virus for their advantage
    6. As they need something to blame for all economic mess, and too much of old population (this was special virus modification they asked to release, instead of original agreement)
  • @Vitaliy_ "Mexico case is good illustration as such structure had been chosen to control quite problematic population. If not such criminal things it had been much more expensive to have factory workers in Mexico for all major US corporations. " _ this isn't correct . While initially cia worked with one famous cartel to support it's blackops with drug money, the situation has migrated out of control of any governmental influence. And this wasn't done to control the population. Any control is only symptomatic of the wars. And the fact of mexico's extremely low minimum wage isn't affected by the war ongoing between the cartels and the govt. These cartels are independent pseudo political entities that are similar to a virus in nature, infecting thru corruption govt institutions. And the historical nature of mexico's poor is far more related to geography and education, which is many times influenced by geography. Some students must walk 10 kilometers over mountain trails to attend school. And it's these regions more in control of cartels and lacking in social institutions that many times cartels assume responsibility. That's why they're supported by the public in these locals.

You mean that it is no other similar regions?

Also no such thing as "independent pseudo political entities" exist, as politics is extension of economics. And all such cartels are being used by corporations (government agencies interfere only sometimes if help if needed).

  • @Vitaliy....so your saying jesse james was really an extension of and controlled by the political institutions ? While the history of the james gang was that it formed from the dregs of the civil war, they were outlaws who claimed they were revenging the south and that was the reason for robbing all those trains, but they were really doing it for their own benefit. That's what I mean by pseudo. Of course they, like mexican cartels , were just ruthless men who used a political pretext to rationalize their violence, done for their own selfish benefit at the expense of society. As well, meinhof baader fits this definition. However you cross a line when considering groups like shining path, which made and continued it's connections to the political. So imho, the mexican cartels have absolutely no connections to real political institutions other than they have connections to certain politicians who've been corrupted by bribes, and those attempt to work for the benefit of the cartels under the table. And of course, any region defined by inhabitable territory suffers similar fates. The Andes for example. So you saw something very similar to what's happening now in mexico, happen in columbia. Almost identical.

  • chloroquine again....cures.... https://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/health/health-problems/coronavirus-australia-queensland-researchers-find-cure-want-drug-trial/news-story/93e7656da0cff4fc4d2c5e51706accb5 ....two drug coctel. The other drug is an outdated hiv treatment. Anyone have any ideas what it is ?

  • Spain nationalized all private hospitals.

  • @kurth

....so your saying jesse james was really an extension of and controlled by the political institutions ?

You somehow got it all reverse. I told you that such things exist and are being used in the interests of real economic actors, and sometimes government agencies can help (if asked).

  • @Vitaliy...and she was pregnant...

  • @kurth

Yes, hoped to find better place to live for herself and baby. And she is not alone, huge number of people are doing the same.

  • @Vitaliy...you have no idea how many Hondurans asking me for help, every week...or at least before, when I went out. I tell them to go home. There's no yellow brick roads... but look at costa rica .Great national health care system. Gonna need it !

  • Honduras was fucked up by usa when he removed the elected left wing govt

  • I tell them to go home. There's no yellow brick roads... but look at costa rica

They must be all stupid then :-) But something tells me that your response will change if you try to live at least a year on their place.

  • From a Made in USA channel :)

    From a super Pro-China guy :)

  • @Vitaliy...I did...for 3 years in Guat. And traveled for a year all over Honduras, Nigaragua, and Costa Rica. El Salvador was simply too dangerous in the 80's. Volunteered in an orphanage in Guat for most of the time. It's my opinion ...shared by the dalai lama...that people should stay home and change their countries for the better. If you think they'll find a better life as an illegal in the USa, you are wrong. As well, married to a mexican for 22 years, and her being my second mexican wife, with 2 100% mexican sons, I have a shitload of family that have gone illegal , and legal to work in the USa. And I can't count how many starving Hondurans I've bought a meal for in the tianguis. Really Vitaliy...and yes , some of them are so malnourished, it makes them stupid. That's what desperation does....makes pregnant girls climb 8 meter walls. And so you think I'm not informed ? This is my neck of the woods , bro. @Zcream ...yes but the USa fuxed up Honduras when they tried to overthrow the Sandinista's , and even before , Honduras has been a US proxy...since they ovethrew Arbenz in guat in 54.

  • Yup long history with agency in Latin America

  • @Zcream...it's just cia...never "the" cia. If u want to get their attention.

  • There are no testing kits here. So no one knows what's happening, however it's already 35deg Celsius in Mumbai and sunny,so I'm less worried
