Video tripods vs photo tripods

This isn't the worst vid I have ever seen, but it is pretty bad. A better vid would show why the vast majority of video tripods don't work very well, and a short list of the ones that really do work.

speaking of that , whats a good tripod for running around with ursa mini for B cam stuff without spending too much $$, how you guys feel about older used tripods from ebay ?
