Capitalism: All main standards organizatrions must be destroyed
  • "Those alliances and consortiums are mostly for big, deep-pocketed western companies to show their muscle and to make contributions when the new standards are formulated," a senior chip industry executive, whose company is in both consortiums, told Nikkei.

Huawei could still develop those related chips and products, as those standards are open to the whole industry, the executive said, but the Chinese company would no longer have a say in crafting those western standards.

"They could always develop their own standards within China," the executive said. "But if you are going overseas and link to other people's network, you need to accept the standards that everyone else is adopting worldwide."

"It is foreseeable that Chinese tech companies will choose not to join the technology alliances led by the U.S. in the future"

Here we see horrible capitalist influence going against another capitalist, but in reality hurting real progress and normal people interests.

And we soon will see completely incompatible standards in core areas.

Story of such things like HEVC group where bunch of morons who bough various questionable patents sit and does not allow to use more efficient compression is also very useful. Same is story of Google and other entries who make very similar algorithms wasting tens of thousands of man hours in attempt to go around existing patents.

I am not even talking about horrible situation with video raw formats where whole industry is set aback by private agreements and greedy company.

  • Im watching this forum from many year's and sometimes i agree sometimes no. So let just say my opinion. I belive in cause and effect. Socialism its no batter than capitalism and capitalism definitely no better than socialism. We live in very turbulent times and like you VK say It will get worse and worse. It's obvious. But my belief it's that sooner or later we'll reach the equilibrium in our life time or not it will happen.

  • @garroulus

Nice. It is not about A>B or B>A. It is more about human race survival.

Nasty capitalists and serving elites again want to significantly reduce population. Much better to reduce to zero themselves. It had been really nice to sit and talk to them, but unfortunately many tried and it does not work. :-)
