Panasonic can axe compacts development this year

    My source told that top management discussed cutting all compacts new developments.

    Already compacts teams are reduced to minimum, hence all newly released models are basically all same as old ones.

    They can leave one 1" sensor size ultrazoom with 2 year update cycle. And axe all else.
