    I plan to do a thorough review at some point.

    There is a fairly cheap but effective Softbox that goes with this Fresnel Lamp. It took me a while to get the UK distributors to recognise the existence of this part. I bought mine through 3D Broadcast Sales who really helped.

    The real reason to get the Softbow is that it's Bowens compatible, which means you can get a wider range of softboxes on this light.

    I chose the night shot so that you can see the colour rendition.

    Here's a day shot with the D1200 about 20metres aways as a fill:
