I have been searching everywhere for any product that will allow me to desqueeze the anamorphic image from my GH5 to a proper ratio on a larger production monitor. I have a smallHD 501 and I can desqueeze on that, but it doesn't passthru, and I can't find any other options for desqueezing on a monitor. The only thing I can find that does scaling on passthru in the odyssey 7q, but I don't want to buy an odyssey just for the passthru.
Any ideas or any products that you're familiar with?
Flanders Scientific monitors have this feature.
I know there are a handful of monitors that have this function built in, but I already have a monitor and I am looking to use what I have.
Any ideas?
I have scoured the internet, but I can't find anything that works.
I don't know of anything that will do this except editing software such as Premiere.
Back in the day had been https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1114777-REG/aputure_v_converter_a810_v_converter_hdmi_extra_scope.html
But it also couldn't do it.
You can get https://www.amazon.com/Imillet-Capture-USB3-0-Drive-Free-Windows/dp/B01M64EAX6/ and small box mini pc with VESA mount to put it all back on large monitor. https://www.amazon.com/x5-Z8350-Processor-Graphics-1000Mbps-Dual-Band/dp/B01N3RO6X5/
Will be $250. If Atom won't be enough (read and ask capture solution owners) can look for i3. But it is only considering capture thing, sizing and output will work even on 4K on Atom as it is GPU.
