LCD? Why not OLED?

Because LCDs with higher SUBpixel resolution make the pixelgrid less apparent when viewing up close in a VR-Situation. OLEDs tend to have better black levels and contrast though.

Hmm, I was always of the opinion that OLED was better for VR due to black = black.
