    Instead of paying dividends Apple pay investors via share repurchase. Not only it allows to keep record share price, but, most importantly - saves big on taxes.

    The financial sector today is decoupled from industrialization. Its main interface with industry is to provide credit to corporate raiders. Their objective isasset stripping, They use earnings to repay financial backers (usually junk-bond holders), not to increase production. The effect is to suck income from the company and from the economy to pay financial elites.

    I am really sorry, but this popular song about some bad finance sector and some good industrial guys and "local business" is just old. I understand that to population capitalists must make some myths, but it is too stupid one.
