    Yep, Sony left only one video app with them and not sold it to Magix and still develop it.

    One thing I do not get

    Who came with such amazing idea to put this into the side and to popup menu while 70% of main buttons panel is free?

    Not much of an issue as there are keyboard commands for those items. However it's quite common for Sony to do odd user interfaces. The old BVE9100 edit controllers were similar, in that frequently used functions were buried in menus.

    It's quite a good application for a Sony product.
