The X-Pro2 is a significant upgrade over the original Pro1, improved in every respect to give a much faster and more flexible tool. However, although it is a camera with a broad range of capabilities, it's one that's at its most distinctive and enjoyable when playing to its core strengths. The hybrid viewfinder is at its best when working with moderately wide to moderately long prime lenses, and the camera's handling comes into its own when operating within these boundaries.
The Fujifilm X-Pro2 isn’t free of imperfections. The Q and AF-L button placement still sucks. The joystick is an amazing addition yes, but you will no doubt find those commenters saying “meh I never use the joystick”. The ISO dial is eye candy, it’s deplorable how impractical it becomes when called into action. For many this will be a window that says A or H. The rear dial lacks the tactile feedback that such a button should have

The Fuji X-Pro2 is truly high end mirrorless camera with performance to match. It delivers one of the best image quality from a mirrorless camera. The main choice photographers face is deciding between the X-Pro2 and X-T1, both professional-grade cameras with the former having an advantage in terms of resolution and the latter one in terms of image noise at high ISO.
The Fujifilm X-Pro2 has a lot of great features -- both in terms of its design and in terms of its operation -- that make it an appealing camera. And it has numerous upgrades over what was offered with the X-Pro1. It has a very high price tag, one that's near the top of the mirrorless camera market. And with no mode dial, it'll take a little while to become comfortable with adjusting the camera's settings to make it work for you. So more than likely, this isn't a purchase an inexperienced photographer is going to want to make. There are less expensive mirrorless models (and DSLRs for that matter) that will appeal more to photographers seeking a first interchangeable lens camera. But, for those who can take advantage of the X-Pro2's advanced features and numerous manual control options, this model has a lot going for it. The X-Pro2's retro style is appealing, but it has more than looks on its side. This model excels in high ISO shooting conditions, has a great Hybrid viewfinder, and has a fast burst mode performance. This model's style and lack of a mode dial may not appeal to everyone, but its strong photographic features should, as long as you can afford it.

Graphite edition
The X-Pro2 was released in March 2016 as the flagship model of the X Series, achieving outstanding image quality with Fujifilm’s proprietary colour reproduction technology and featuring the world's one and only Advanced Hybrid Multi Viewfinder, which enables users to instantly switch between the optical viewfinder and electronic viewfinder. The X-Pro2 also features a 24.3MP X-TransTM CMOS III sensor*2 which achieves super high image quality that exceeds what is normally expected from an APS-C sized sensor.
Compared to the graphite silver editions of the current X-T1 and new X-T2, additional black pigment is added to the top coating of this edition, which provides a rich metallic texture perfectly suited to the X-Pro2, a camera optimal for discreet snap-shooting.
The camera is sold together with the FUJINON XF23mm F2 R WR lens and LH-XF35-2 lens hood in the same graphite colour as the body. This particular combination of body and lens further enhances the compact appearance and luxurious feeling of the camera, providing users with a mirrorless digital camera that’s a joy to own.
