hacking the new SONY video cam HXR-NX100

I just bought the new HXR-NX100 and there is no option in the menu (like there is in other such pro cams) to change the iris rotation to open in the clock wise direction rather then counter clockwise direction. does any one know of a program that will generally open up the firmware in my cam and let me permanently change that feature?
