    Sounds like they want to preempt announcements of competitors regarding post-NAND storage technology.

    Such memory tech is much more suitable for video cameras due to speed and almost no degrading (contrary to only 100-200 cycles for all modern NAND).

    It might well be that we'll see other companies ship other alternatives to Flash (like ReRAM or MRAM in larger quantities) before you can actually buy XPoint3D stuff.

    Regarding endurance: They only claim a 3x advantage over Flash - and did you ever manage to destroy a Flash based video recording storage by overwriting it too often?
