Price is pretty ok, considering case and overall it looks good.

@ISO1600 exactly. I look at all this gear and I'm wondering, "Why is it so expensive?" And anything over $100 is expensive in my book, especially considering the GH1 was on sale for $350 when I bought it.

Somebody needs to put out something like this for $50.

Unfortunately it is ill thinking.
As soon as you'll dig deeper in manufacturing and other things you'll realise that prices always have foundation.
