Just checked and you're right, the option isn't there for the GF1. I'm sure if you ask @Vitaliy_Kiselev very nicely, he might be able to implement this in the next version of PTool.

You won't need to press record every 10 minutes. At 1080p, quality 160 I get close to an hour usually. If you leave the resolution at 720p, then at quality 160 you might get a few hours - depending on the complexity of the scene.

@toxotis70 I don't have a GH2 so I can't say for sure... Once you've selected MJPEG recording from the camera menu you'll know it's working because when you record the screen/viewfinder will only move at 2fps.
