2560x1080?

I shot some 1080p24 footage, brought it into fcp6 and it turned it into 2560x1080.. WTF? Anybody have an idea of what happened? (This is an unhacked camera)..

Sounds like FCP somehow interpreted your footage as shot anamorphically with a horizontal squeeze factor of 1.33X. It then stretched it by this factor to a 2.37:1 widescreen aspect ratio of 2560x1080. To fix it back to 1920x1080, make sure that FCP interprets the footage as having square pixels.
