Any need to repost this thing you for from twitter?
since you're asking, It's an amusingly bad 130 million dollar exercise in VFX and filmmaking. I thought there might be some actual filmmakers here that would be interested/entertained. Isn't that what cameras are for? Or are we only supposed to talk about codecs and look at clips of bushes blowing in the wind. The movie also has Olga Kurylenko, never a mistake to show her :)

Yep, of course. :-)
Looks all set up to become a cult classic. :) (albeit an expensive one)
RRR I want to see this movie actually, for the reason you say...and Olga...
I'd watch it! Yes the effects are bad. But what really got me was the awful fonts...
Here's how they can recoup some production costs:
Are you the owner of a Chinese Seafood Palace Restaurant? Stock footage available to promote your dinner specials! Giant Lobster! Giant Crab! Mermaid Waitress! Call Empires of The Deep Stock Footage. Now!
Would have still been a bad "B" movie 60 years ago....cringe....
They hired some top Hollywood talents, Randall Frakes, from the Terminator franchise, the 3D camera guys from Avatar. Maybe kids will like it! Or reshoot it with Arnold Swarzenegger and Kenneth Branagh...
Arnold Schwarzenegger : I prophesize a fish war!
Kenneth Branagh: A plague upon your prophecies! A Lobster! My Kingdom for a Lobster!
Arnold Schwarzenegger: Fuhget da Lobster. I just grab some of dem Moormaids and dat sorta thing!

Man, Cameron's gonna be really mad when he sees they ripped off his unique aquatic idea for Avatar 2!
They even nicked the "Papyrus" font, sorta...
Don't you just love the shaky cam CGI? ;)
