Matte boxes and filter thickness

I use Schneider/Century optics 4x4 filters. Matte Box is Genus. When it comes to filters, cant quite save on them cos its that piece of glass placed in front of your lens. It doesn't matter if you use an Angenieux Optimo, if your filter sucks, the images will suck as well.

@rockroadpix Thanks for the input. Right now, it's a toss up between this and the Genus matte box, which isn't much more expensive than the Cinematics.

Cavision 3x3 is fine. My big 4x4 is unused now.

@goanna How wide can you go with the 3x3 Cavision? Especially interested if with pana 14-140 @14 I will still be able to use filters in trays. What about 12 mm? Still possible?
